Flora Europaea

A nice steppe halophile species with a Pontic - Caspian - Altaian range. In Romania it is present in saline flood plains from Moldavia and Buzau Plain, much rare along the Black Sea's shores. Very good pictures with this species from Russia can be seen here (classified as Stemmacantha serratuloides (Georgi) Dittrich).

Iasi, Iasi county, at the exit from the city along Bahlui valley, July 2010.
